The Oldham County Educational Foundation

Bracket BBQ

The Oldham County Educational Foundation exists to elevate the Oldham County public education experience. We raise funds to meet the needs in our school district which are not covered by the state budget. This directly impacts the quality of education our students receive in the classroom! We support the implementation of new technology, innovative projects, specialized equipment for special needs, and programs which go above and beyond the traditional core subjects. Through our support of STEM programs, the arts at CAPAA, literacy development, early childhood education, and teacher grants, The Educational Foundation is able to make a yearly impact in each and every one of our Oldham County Schools!

Did you know that the Oldham County school district is one of the top ranking schools in the state, year after year? Did you also know that our school system receives some of the lowest amount of funding from our state budget? Because of our overall collective wealth in Oldham County, the state does not appropriate the same funds to our school district as they would to a neighboring county with statistically average, or below average, income statistics. We believe this puts Oldham County in a unique position—to collectively fund and support our school system through public fundraisers, business donations and grants.

We Support Teachers

Our Annual Pyramid Award grants for teachers awards up to $1,000 per grant request. Applications are judged on specific criteria, and must directly impact students learning.

We Invest In OC

Investment in public education is a critical matter for all. We bring together parents, grandparents, businesses and volunteers to invest back into our schools, teachers and students.

We Can Use Your Help

There are many ways to help promote the Educational Foundation. Impact your local school, or the full district, through volunteer hours, donations of goods, by helping spread the word, or making a monetary donation.

Our Key Funding Priorities

Through granting qualified projects up to $1,000 each, with our program called The Pyramid Awards
